Who we are
DD:A|D specializes in the comprehensive development and seamless implementation of user experiences in art spaces across all phases of a project. Employing a multidisciplinary approach, our team, comprising contemporary architects, designers, art specialists, and culturologists, combines expertise to craft immersive and engaging artistic environments that transcend traditional exhibition and museum presentation. Our approach revolves around solidly integrating the artistic narrative with the physical space, enabling visitors to embark on a multifaceted journey of exploration,
interpretation, and emotional resonance within the art space. By orchestrating this convergence of elements, our team contributes to the establishment of art spaces that not only showcase visual delights but also foster deeper connections, multifaceted interactions, and an enriched understanding of the artistic and cultural narratives they contain. Through our concerted efforts and cross-disciplinary collaborations, we strive to elevate the role of art spaces as immersive, transformative, and educational environments that offer a compelling fusion of artistic expression and user engagement.

“A modern-day exhibition and museum project should go beyond presenting an art piece to the public. It has the potential to become a spatial model of the user experience, built into the interaction between the exhibit itself, collected knowledge and physical space. The most successful projects can be seen as synergies of a curator, as a bearer of knowledge; an institution, as the keeper of the object and its memory; and an architect, as a sculptor of the spatial experience who creates a comfortable, balanced and proportionate environment for both the exhibit and the visitor.”

Inclusive and Accessible Exhibition Design
An essential part of modern exhibition spaces and designs is the full integration of visitors with disabilities into the cultural world. For many people with disabilities, art is often something inaccessible, limited to a single perceptual sense, or kept behind physical and perceptual barriers. Our team has a unique experience in engaging museum visitors and communities of people with disabilities. During the first stages of project development, it is essential to implement best international practices and expertise for a barrier-free space to invite disabled people into an artistic context. The scope of project work varies and can include: designing infrastructure to provide access for people in wheelchairs; reproducing text materials in Braille and making all graphical materials available in a special relief design for the visually impaired. It is important to invite local communities for a dialogue to create new and better participatory experiences for people with disabilities.
Joint efforts might rethink museum spaces and interactions with art as a whole.
