Story
The project brings together more than 400 unique artifacts: portraits of the ministry's leaders, household items and arts and crafts reflecting certain aspects of the ministry's activities, approved samples of uniform, archival documents and much more. The real treasure of the exhibition are the unique coins, medals and tokens of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Empire. For the first time the visitor can see the coins created during the reign of Peter the Great and preserved in single copies
The exposition is supplemented with unique multimedia materials created especially for the project. The short movies tell about the outstanding leaders of the Ministry, historical buildings, which at different times housed institutions and enterprises of the Ministry, its unique library and the history of the main reforms of monetary circulation of the XIX-XX centuries. The multimedia content of the project is based on rare archival footage and expert interviews

Unique exhibition equipment was developed for the project, which includes different levels of exposure of the subject and information series. The upper part of the exhibition equipment is prepared specifically for the presentation of graphic works and medium-format exhibits. Information multimedia media are integrated into the middle level. Retractable archive lockers have been designed to store banknotes, coins and archive documents. This structure allows the visitor to gradually familiarize with the artistic, informational and documentary content of the project and visually facilitates the exposition space
